Well-known social media influencers

1 DJ Sbu
DJ Sbu motivating Vaal High School
He is one of the most successful businessman  in South Africa also known as Mzekezeke. I think his a good public figure because his a well-known author, even gives bursaries to grade 12 learners who passed well without sponsorship to further their studies, he has worked on some of the most well-known radio stations in South Africa such as Metro FM and YFM.

I like listening to his to his show on Metro Fm on Saturday between 12:00-15:00 because he always interivews youth intreprenuer  and always motivated his listeners not only on air but also on social media platforms. He is doing his best on what his is doing and also what he does outside his professional life

She is the reason why I still watch Live Amp previously known as “Live”, which was her first TV show to present on SABC 1. She is currently the first South African  brand ambassador of Revlon international make up cosmetics, which is a good public influence because the PRP of Revlon uses the digital media to target the specific audiences by updating them about the latest products. Now that she has her own show on Metro FM, my radio and I always meet for Bonang’s show during the week for different exciting topics and advices strictly for woman.

3 Trevor Noah
Trevor Noah in Germany
Trevor Noah South Africans most handsome comedian. I always make sure that I download his latest stand up comedies. His PRP always communicates with his fans. He is more like an international comedian because, his always taking selfies whenever his in a different country. I enjoy reading his Twitter updates because, he always posts either a joke or the thought of the day, which is a great way to start my day.

4 Phat Joe
I know where to always turn to for the latest Mzanzi’s celeb gossip. Either on his TV show in SABC 1 titled The Real Goboza or his show on Metro FM on Saturdays. All I want to know about Mzanzi celebrity tune in to one of his shows or visit his social media platforms.

5 K.O (rapper)
Mzanzi’s king of hip hop from the group of Tear Gas. I personally think either with or without group his music is still the best because his first solo album. He is indeed the king of hip hop because he makes uses of the digital media to the fullest, no wonder why he was ranked number 1 from the top 10 of South African rappers.

Mzanzi Famous Hip Hop Saga

Cassper Nyovest! One of my favourite local hip hop artist in Mzansi. His music is always on point, even though I did not like the track he released on the December last year named “Beef” which went viral in Twitter within the first ten minutes of posting the link of the song. It was drama, I was so confused though because the song was dedicated to the South African king of hip hop named K.O. I do not know what went wrong between the two because they were like brothers.

Cassper Nyovest was interviewed on Metro FM by Oskido, as he explained that he had to say what has been bottling in his heart. Okay..., but I still could not understand the part where he sweared at the end of the song because I still think it is rude but, Iam glad that he apologised though.

I basically thought that the song was dedicated to A.K.A. as the two do not really get along. I feel like  A.K.A. was supposed to show Cassper the ins and outs of the music industry especially hip hop as it is one of the top trending music genre in South Africa, not dissing each other with singles.

What A.K.A. did on the night of the SAHHA2014 was not tasteful because he was busy taunting Cassper. I bet it was a heavy night for Cassper.

No matter how the two criticize each other and how through their career and also on the social media, I still stand with Cassper because I think be brands to his fans in a way that all his fans get whatever feedback they want from him and he keeps them updated and most of them all his music is the best.

Cassper Nyovest cover album
Cassper released a single called Doc Shebeleza, which kept everybody singing along every time it has been played, even older people and primary school kids. The single was a hit, it is even number one of the top 10 of The Africa HHB on Sound Cloud. The track was made available for free downloads over 200 000 times. The link was shared on Twitter and Facebook because I remember my friend telling me that she downloaded it for free then I did not waist any minute downloaded it and even made it my new ringtone. The single has got more viewers on YouTube then other tracks from his album.

Through digital media, one can go from a to b, whether is music related or it involves your organisation. I think it is best use digital media when trying to get through of your target audience, as long as you are active, posting interesting things and meeting your target audience needs. I personally think your organisation will grow and become better and well known by public.
